Prahran Skate Park Book
The book, titled "Prahran Skate Park" encapsulates the essence of Prahran Skate Park before its recent closure and renovation. Serving as a visual chronicle, it captures the vibrancy and raw beauty of this iconic space, immortalizing its legacy for future generations.
Located on Essex St in Prahran, just a stone's throw away from Prahran train station, the skate park holds a special place in the hearts of many. Built during the vert ramp phase circa 1987 by Convic Skate Parks, it has been a hub for skateboarders, artists, and community members alike.
Within the 100 pages of this photo book, each image is carefully curated to evoke the energy and spirit of the old Prahran Skate Park. From the weathered surfaces to the faces of its patrons, the book encapsulates the laughter, triumphs, and camaraderie that defined the park's legacy.
Kosi To Coast Book
Since 1991, St Michael's Grammar School has enabled an adventurous and perhaps ambitious group of Year 11 students to embark on the affectionately known 'Kosi to Coast' expedition during the September holidays.
Students are challenged with a 20-day adventure starting from close to Perisher Valley in NSW, to the summit of Mt Kosciuszko, where they then descend, hiking through Kosciuszko national park towards the Snowy River where they then travel by raft and canoes to the coast in Marlo.
